What happens when a simple game of Magic: The Gathering goes too far?
We made Game On for the SModcastle 37 Hour Film Challenge, where we had just 37 hours to write, shoot, edit, and deliver a finished short film.
The challenge also came with mandatory elements that had to be clearly represented in the film:
- The Prop: An old school boombox
- The Character: Alyssa Jones appearing on-screen
- The Dialogue: “Bunch of savages in this town.”
After a brutal board wipe, two friends decide there can be only one. What starts at the gaming table escalates into an epic sword duel in Chuck’s Mom’s backyard.
